Flyers erase 2-goal deficit to beat Habs

James van Riemsdyk scored his first goal in 23 games midway through the final period as the Philadelphia Flyers erased a two-goal deficit on Monday, defeating the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 at Wells Fargo Center.

Ville Leino and Claude Giroux had the other Flyers goals, while Brian Boucher, making his second consecutive start, stopped 29 of 31 shots for his fourth win and second in three days.

Maxim Lapierre had both the Canadiens' goals in the opening period as Montreal fell for just the third time in their last nine outings.

Carey Price was outstanding in defeat, allowing three goals on 45 shots, including 36 in the final two periods.
